Don't Judge someone today.

Mini sermon by C. E. Strain

It is so easy to look on someone's life and pass a simple judgment on them. You will miss your blessing by picking a certain day to sum up someone else's life or attitude or goals.

When Joseph was in prison, you could look at him and say he was a prisoner. You would be right.... but you would be wrong. If you chose to pass judgment on someone, make sure it is based upon where they are going, not where they are.

Those that understood that Joseph had something more than his current residence, received greater direction for their lives. Others who sat in jail with him, probably mocked Joseph saying, "your just a prisoner, too. What makes you think that your some kind of prophet?"

Well by their choice, Joseph was just a prisoner,....... and so where they..........

Goliath looked upon David as just a little boy. And so he was. But David was destined to be king and Goliath was destined to be dead. If Goliath had looked upon David differently and not judged him as nothing........

Two thieves looked upon the third man on the cross with them. One saw him as just another thief, the other looked upon him as something more. Not sure at first, but willing to give him the benefit of his respect.

Luke 23:38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.
Luke 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.
Luke 23:40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
Luke 23:41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.
Luke 23:42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.
Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

You be the judge.
