The Resurection. Do your really believe it?

As I learn that the Pope has just gone home, a thought occurred to me that I'm sure many others have already noticed as well, but that needs to be shared... Even as his final lesson to all of us as Christians still remaining here on this earth, the man called the Pope has showed us all how to go home with dignity and with honor...

A few short hours ago, ( a couple of days) when it became apparent to him and everyone else that the end was near, the man declined another trip to the hospital, choosing instead to remain in his home. He asked that a particular scripture be read to him, after which he closed the book on his work here, and set his minds eye, soul and spirit on Christ our Lord...

With arms outreached to his (our) blessed savior, he literally showed us how to work hard to the end, and when it's time to put down your plow and get ready to go home, how to do it with the most grace and dignity that I recall anyone showing us... Regardless of our particular denomination or church affiliation, this man has taught us all a lesson in how it's done... Just think now of the celebration for him as he steps from the bounds of this flawed earthly body into the arms of Christ... No more pain and suffering... I for one will not forget this lesson that the man taught me as his final act and message to all Christians here on earth... He surely has shown us all how it's done... Dave
