Roll your stone away.

A Mini-Sermon by Bro. C. Emerson Strain

Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? John 11:39-40

Everyone of us has a dream, or desire or prayer that we want the Lord to answer in our life. Sometimes that prayer is answered and other times it take a while. Some prayers and things that we pray for, we begin to think will never be answered.

Lazarus was one of those unanswered prayers. Jesus didn't appear on the scene until Lazarus had been dead for four days. Have you had a prayer for something that was now so "dead" on your heart's desire, that you gave it up for dead?

"Take ye away the stone." What ever doubt or fear or lack of faith that you have: "Take ye away the stone!" Watch what the Lord will do.

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 1 Thess 5:24

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Heb 10:22-25

Take away the stone in your life and watch what the Lord will do.
