Don't paint the pan. A quick cooking lesson by C. E. Strain There are so many cooking experts in the world today. There are so many gadgets and utensils to work with. Some promise to pamper the chef, others supply you with a rubber maid. But your favorite vessel is that trusty old pan that has fed your family over the years. It now has scratch marks showing its years of use. The color and shine has kinda gone away. It shows some tarnish here and there, but there is no rust on it because it's in constant use. It isn't the pan that makes the cooking so good, its the ingredience that you put in the pan that tastes so good. And more than that, it's the love that is put in with the ingredience that makes it taste so much better than anyone else's cooking. So when you feel the pan is starting to show its use, don't paint the pan. It will ruin the taste. Don't paint the pan. It is perfect as it is. We wouldn't want it any other way. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the Master's use, and prepared unto every good work. 2 Tim 2:21
