I have chosen you. Submited by Sis Margie Poteat "You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever ye ask of the Father in my name He may give it to you." John 15:13-14 JESUS, THE MASTER DESIGNER A master designer, when selecting material for the project at hand, looks for durability and quality. They never look for beauty or design, because they know the ability of their skills will bring forth these qualities. When Jesus chooses one for His harvest field, he too looks for durability, endurance, pliabillity and submission. He is not influenced by where we come from, what we look like, what we have done or haven't done, etc. He is not impressed with our abilities or inabilities. He chooses "diamonds in the rough" that through His quality craftsmanship, He might bring forth a perfect finished product. Too many people try to prepare themself for the Master's use. That is not our job. That is His job to take us just as we are and make us to become what He needs us to be. A master designer, seamstress, artist, etc. looks at a substance that would seem worthless to others, and sees a finished masterpiece. They know that through their abilities, talents and skills something beautiful will come forth. I believe that God looked upon the world when it was dark and void and saw a beautiful earth - finished! complete! I believe before He spoke the first "Let there be..." that He already knew the finished work was good and very good. Jesus knows the potential of each of His children. He told Jeremiah the Prophet, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations". Jer 1:5 Jesus knows you and He loves you. He knows that as you are masterpiece material. He looks beyond your faults, weaknesses and shortcomings and sees your ability, your strength and your victorious life. He sees the winner potential in you. He sees the Samson strength in you. He sees the David courage in you. He sees the Job stability in you. He sees the Paul determination in you. Jesus sees you as you really are and not as you seem to be in your own eyes. Submit
yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
Creator (Jesus) - the Master and Lord, is searching for creation (flesh vessels) that He can put Himself into and bring forth full fledged sons and daughters of God. So, I would say to you: "Arise, take up your bed and walk." Arise from discouragement, defeat, rejection, heartache, disappointment, etc. and focus on the Christ - the Son of the Living God and live. Yea, I say unto you live. I can share this with you because I have been in all of these places of desolation and hurt - THEN JESUS CAME and showed me that I was made in His likeness and created in His image. I was not my own but I was bought with a price. He let me know that He loved me with an everlasting love and He didn't save me to lose me. HE IS SAYING THE SAME THING TO YOU. ARISE! GO FORTH! Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Speak not
evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and
judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but
if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. James
4:10-11 Be free in Jesus Name. The Master hath need of you. He is in creative mode and needs material to design, form, mold and make -- give yourself to Jesus -- totally to Jesus and see what He will do with you.
