My Testimony
In May of 1986 I was diagnose to have an incurable disease called Crohn's. This disease affects the small and large bowels. The doctors don't know what causes this sickness, although they are learning better how to treat it. Mine was in the ascending colon until this year.
I caught the flu in early Feb.it caused the crohn's to flare-up and from then on I steadily grew worse. The doctors looked at my colon and the disease had spread to the transcending and also descending colon. I was a very sick person, unable to take care of myself.
I have always believed in prayer. God has healed me many times but it seemed like this was my cross to bear. I have served God for almost 34 years and I know sometimes we have to wait on God . My husband has pastored for 25 years and I have tried to be a help to him but this time it seemed like I was more of a burden. BUT God was looking down on July 4th, 2000 and sent a healing touch to me.
Since then, I have not taken any medication for crohn's. I am able to eat anything I want, able to do things and work like I use to before I got sick 14 yrs. ago!
I am no better than anyone else, what God has done for me He will do for anyone who will believe. I feel like a totally different person. I want to lift up JESUS because He has done for me what no one else could . My help was beyond what man could do and truly He did just that.
